Worst treatment EVER from an accommodation (and we've travelled a lot around the world) Positive: Whatever I liked about this accommodation was nullified by the treatment we received from both Booking and the company that administers the apartment (Manasteos - Conciergerie Bnb). I'll start the story here: we were supposed to stay 4 nights with a 10-month-old baby. The parking space was too narrow, like other reviewers said. The apartment looked nice at first glance. After a thorough inspection, I couldn't explain the "excellent" reviews. The apartment was not properly cleaned; it was clear that the "professional" cleaning, which costs 60€, was never done. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling. The smell was terrible. The bathroom tiles were filthy (brown slime). The washing machine was not working (it's still not fixed per recent reviews, and it was broken since July as per another review; Manasteos assured me it was another problem back then). We contacted Manasteos, and they preferred to communicate on WhatsApp, but I switched back to Booking's official chat. They said they will send somebody to treat the mold. I refused to have the mold treated with chemicals because of the baby. Negative: It's UNACCEPTABLE to treat mold while paying guests are staying the night. They said they will also fix the washing machine at 20:00 on the evening we checked in. Nobody came that night. Looking back, they definitely lied about sending someone that evening. I contacted Booking for help to figure out our options. Manasteos told Booking the issue was fixed. The ISSUES were NOT fixed. The next morning, we decided to check out and get a refund for the remaining 3 nights. Booking said Manasteos can change the check-out date and refund the money. While we were out that morning, they sent someone who WIPED THE MOLD WITH TISSUES WE BOUGHT AND LEFT THE TISSUES IN THE BATHROOM. 3 weeks after this, I still had an open refund activity on my account, but customer agents said no refund was initiated (?) - clearly a technical bug on Booking's side. I had to keep contacting Booking and chat with them for hours, because I was never updated by them on the progress. Last time, I gave up after waiting 50 min on the line. Finally, our request was not resolved because Manasteos DIDN'T WANT to refund the money, and Booking gave me 30€ credits for the "inconvenience". Customer agents even said they would have left the property, too. So there you have it. STAY AWAY from Manasteos and Booking because you get ZERO HELP when things are bad. I am Genius Level 3 and it didn't count for anything. We had to cancel subsequent accommodations, lost money, lost what was supposed to be a beautiful vacation, and memories with our baby. Manasteos had the NERVE to tell me in our last messages that I never requested another accommodation, but they never even intended to refund us. They could only send generic messages like "we are deeply sorry about the inconvenience...", "our goal is to ensure that our guests are comfortable..." We are so deeply angered by this whole situation, and we've filed a complaint with DGCCRF (Customer Protection Office in France).

Appartement avec potentiel s'il était mieux équipé et entretenu Positive: Lit confortable, possibilité de faire la cuisine, vaisselle suffisante, lave-vaisselle, assez spacieux, place de parking, télé avec Netflix Bonne situation géographique. Negative: Nettoyage à revoir, taches sur tapis et coussins, placards poussiéreux Objets cassés à réparer: Lave-linge, lampadaire salon, couvercle WC, commande du four, couvercles sans poignée, poubelle, éclairage insuffisant, couverts insuffisants manque d'hospitalité: absence de sel, sucre, capsules café, pastilles lave-vaisselle, papier cuisine remise de clés: clés difficiles à trouver dans le noir

Positive: Great accommodation if you are coming to Nice. The apartment is in a great location, and the host is very kind. We even received a brochure in pdf about what to visit, where to eat and how to make the most of our visit to Nice. All recommendations and we will definitely be back again.😊

Filthy and disgusting despite positive reviews, cockroach died on the floor inside of appartment during the night Positive: Parking space in Nice is a rarity, altough it was very narrow for mid-size SUV. Please everyone be aware that larger vehicles won’t fit. Detailed pre-checkin info were nice to have, altough unnecessarily complicated. Negative: Despite all of good reviews of how clean and nice the place is, the place was dirty and i’m talking half-year worth of not cleaned so it’s not like once in a while not cleaned situation. Floor edges, shower… you name it, were filthy, mouldy like. Bed sheets were a bit dirt, same for towels. There was half of wet toillet paper roll, rest of the toillet paper was in the freezer (not joking). A/C had a really dirty and dusty filter. Cherry on top was the dead cockroach that appeared in the morning in the midlle of the hall and it wasn’t there evening before. Owner also messaged me a few times to explicitly write him a 10/10 review. All of this gave me a feeling that the reviews are rigged and/or that the owner is disconnected from the reality about his appartment. This was literally the most disgusting rented place i’ve ever been.
